Dr. Tsang is an experienced clear aligner dentist who uses a combination of digital impressions and specialized software to virtually plan how your teeth will move, then creates an individualized treatment plan.

A specialized lab fabricates several sets of aligners based on the treatment plan developed by Dr. Tsang. Each set is calibrated to create certain tooth movements, and when worn in sequence, they gradually straighten your smile.

How to Wear Clear Aligners

You should aim to wear your aligner trays for 22 hours a day for 2-3 weeks. You should remove them only for oral hygiene and meals. You can take them out for an event like a wedding, reunion, or business presentation; however, remember the longer you wear your aligners each day, the faster your smile will be straight and beautiful!

After wearing the first set as instructed by your dentist, you'll switch them out for the next set we provide. You'll find your aligners feel very snug when you first put them in and gradually loosen up as the days go by—this is perfectly normal and means your teeth are moving as planned!

Every 6–8 weeks, you'll visit Russell Dental so we can check your progress and give you the next sets of aligners. The number of sets it takes to straighten your smile depends on your unique needs, but your treatment is complete when you've worn them all.
